2008 ISHM Conference

Chairperson: Mr. Mark Derriso, Air Force Research Laboratory Air Vehicles Directorate

The 2008 Integrated Systems Health Management (ISHM) Conference is a forum bringing together experts from government, industry, and academia to discuss state of the art ISHM requirements. The forum fosters the development of partnerships that will in turn support the development of ISHM technologies for current and future applications. The Conference focus in 2008 is “Discovering ISHM through Education and Applications.” This year’s emphasis on education is illustrated with a full day ISHM tutorial, including example applications in the areas of system diagnostics, prognostics, and condition-based maintenance. The tutorial is offered Monday to initiate discussion and a common understanding of ISHM concept and terminology leading into the conference technical program. A Plenary Session with leading health management experts, DoD representatives, as well as key industry participants kicks-off conference activity on Tuesday and will include an audience Q&A period. Technical sessions and a poster session featuring presenters from a diverse list of organizations will focus on the areas of Enabling Technologies, Subsystems Applications, and Platform/System Implementations. Finally, the 2008 ISHM Conference offers an expanded exhibit hall sho wcasing the latest ISHM products and services.
