2008 ISHM Security Information

Restricted Attendance

Attendance at the ISHM Conference is restricted to US citizens and permanent residents (Green Card Holders) ONLY. Conference material is ITAR and Military Critical Restricted in accordance with DoD directive 5230.5 under the provisions of Public Law 98-94, “Department of Defense Authorization Act, 1984,” Section 1217, Sept 24, 1983 and is not available to the general public.


Requirements to Attend

Attendees at the conference must meet the following criteria;

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder) of the United States
  • Provide your organization’s DD Form 2345 certification number (applies only to industry and academia)*
  • Wear the ISHM conference photo badge. (Badges are provided to you after we verify you meet the stated security requirements and have shown a photo ID.

Those who do not comply with these personal identification requirements will not be allowed to enter the technical sessions, poster, or exhibit area. For more information about the security guidelines for the ISHM conference, including accepted forms of photo identification, please visit the conference web site.

*If your organization does not currently have a CERTIFIED DD Form 2345, please contact the Joint Certification Office at least 60 days prior to the Conference to request one. Instructions can be found online at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/default.asp.
