Welcome to the 2009 Tri-Service Metamaterials Applications Conference

Please join us for the 2009 Tri-service Metamaterials Applications Conference.  The purpose of this event is to promote interaction and collaboration between government, industry, and academia in order to maximize the impact of metamaterials  on DoD development programs in the near future.  Through this event, the services will also gain a better understanding of the capabilities of industry, and an enhanced connection to highly relevant programs in the academic world.  Metamaterials has the potential to profoundly change many of the critical aspects of maintaining a technologically superior defense capability for the United States.  Leadership in metamaterials research and development is therefore critical to maintaining our technological edge in national defense, especially with regard to aerospace capabilities.
