0840-1000 Red/Blue Discrimination Wargame Demonstration
Mr Louis Tirino and Mr Brian Lewis, MIT Lincoln Laboratory

Discrimination of the warhead(s) from nonlethal objects in a target complex is critical for a successful Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) engagement. The Lincoln Laboratory Red/Blue Discrimination Wargame serves as an opportunity to participate in an interactive demonstration and apply advanced concepts in BMD to the challenge of discrimination. The audience, comprising the Blue Team, will be given an introduction to advanced concepts and then be challenged to perform discrimination on a threat complex using the features from the available sensors. The scenario, devised by the Red Team, will test the abilities of the Blue Team to exploit information from advanced sensor algorithms and decision logics.
