The 2009 National Space and Missile Materials Symposium was held at the stunning Green Valley Ranch in Henderson Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas, June 22-25.

The NSMMS serves as the premier forum for system engineers, designers, scientists, and managers concerned with the pivotal challenges of materials and processing for space and missile technology. In the current climate of renewed emphasis on space exploration and research, NSMMS plays an important role in bringing dynamic technologies and innovations to the forefront. The Symposium focuses on key materials and processing issues associated with system and component needs on the critical path to enabling current and future space and missile capabilities. This symposium is US ONLY, ITAR, and Military Critical Restricted in accordance with DoD directive 5230.5 under the provisions of Public Law 98-94, “Department of Defense Authorization Act, 1984,” Section 1217, Sept 24, 1983 and is not open to the general public. Presentations will not be more restrictive than Distribution C. Proceedings will be published as a Distribution C volume.
