ITS will be holding a Thermoelectrics Short Course on Sunday, July30th from 9 AM to 5 PM at Caltech. This 1-day workshop is gearedtowards graduate students/post docs and people that are new to the field of thermoelectrics with the aim of providing greater context for the talks at ICT. The workshop will be capped at 50 (first come, first serve).
This year's course will cover electronic and thermal transport, (from basics to buzzwords), characterization techniques and fundamentals of device design and manufacturing considerations. A mini poster session will be held on Sunday evening to give short-course participants an opportunity to either practice presenting their accepted posters, or even to present work that was not submitted for the ICT conference.
Registration is free and includes lunch, coffee breaks and refreshments for the poster session. To apply, please complete the following survey as soon as possible. You will be informed by June 12 on the status of your application.
