Student Grant

Thank you for your inquiry regarding student grant support for the 2017 ICT.

Per the instructions found at http://www.its.org/content/graduate-student-conference-registration-waiver-ict-2017, here is the procedure for applying for a grant:

Students should submit the following to the Committee Chair Prof. Donald Morelli (dmorelli@egr.msu.edu):

• Recommendation from the faculty advisor as to how the conference participation is directly relevant to the student’s research or graduate studies
• Copy of the abstract submitted to the ICT 2017 conference website with the applicant’s name clearly listed as the presenter, and a copy of the submission confirmation from the conference organizer
• The above documents should be gathered together in PDF format in a single file

Submissions are due Thursday, 30 March 2017, so please send your submission soon!

Applications will be screened and judged by a three-member committee of the ITS Board Members. Successful applicants will be notified by May 1, 2017.

Students applying for a grant may register for the conference, and select "check payment" to pay at a later date once it has been determined whether a grant will be applicable or not.
